MAKERL recently completed the delivery of an automatic thermal break assembly line for aluminum profiles.
The line processes thermal break profiles through three main steps: aluminum profile knurling, polyamide strip insertion and mechanical rolling. Knurling prepares the profile grooves, the polyamide strip is inserted into the grooves, and the rolling unit locks the strip in place.
The line is designed for the production of thermal break aluminum profiles used in windows, doors and curtain wall systems.

The video below shows the equipment running during production, including profile feeding, thermal break strip insertion and rolling.
MAKERL supplies individual thermal break assembly machines as well as complete production lines. Machine configuration can be matched to the profile size, thermal break strip and required production capacity.
