CNC Thermal Break Profile Knurling and Strip Insertion Machine
Standard Configuration: 12-Axis CNC Dual-Station Knurling & Strip Insertion Machine
The first process of the line is completed by the 12-axis CNC dual-station knurling and strip insertion machine.
The machine is equipped with an upper knurling station for Side A and a lower knurling station for Side B, allowing both sides of the aluminum profile to be processed without manual turning or repositioning.
During operation, the knurling rollers create uniform serrations on the thermal break groove surface of the aluminum profile. The polyamide insulation strip is then inserted into the groove automatically, creating a reliable mechanical connection between the profile and the thermal barrier strip.
Thermal Break Rolling Crimping Machine Options
The rolling crimping machine is available in 11-, 14-, 17- and 20-axis configurations for different aluminum profile designs and production requirements.
As the second process in the thermal break profile assembly line, it applies controlled pressure to lock the aluminum profile and polyamide thermal barrier strip together.
After knurling and strip insertion, rolling crimping compresses the aluminum profile around the strip to form the required mechanical connection.
