The installation of aluminum alloy window frame connectors requires distinguishing between window frame fixing connectors and window sash hardware transmission connectors, as the core steps differ:

Installation of Window Frame Fixing Connectors (Fixing Plates/Expansion Connectors)

These are the core components connecting the window frame to the wall. The installation process is as follows:

Pre-fixing: Install the galvanized connectors on the sides of the aluminum alloy window frame in advance, with a spacing of no more than 50cm on each side, ensuring at least 3 connection points on each side. Check the connectors' firmness.

Positioning and Insertion: Place the window frame into the window opening, temporarily fix it with wooden wedges, adjust the window frame to be horizontal and vertically centered, aligning it with the marked positioning lines.

Wall Fixing: Fix the window frame to the wall using expansion bolts/nail guns through the connectors. If it is a sub-frame structure, first connect the connectors to the steel sub-frame with screws, then fix the fixing plates to the wall with nail guns.

Sealing: After fixing, fill with expanding foam, apply weather-resistant sealant to the outside, completing the installation of the window frame connectors.

Window Sash Upper and Lower Transmission Connector (Installation for New Window Sashes)

If replacing the upper and lower transmission connectors for the window sash handle transmission, the installation steps are as follows:

Comparison and Selection: Compare the dimensions of the old part to confirm the total length, number of locking points, and square steel dimensions. For inward-opening and tilt-and-turn windows, distinguish between the upper and lower turning angles. Take photos and send them to the supplier for confirmation of compatibility.

Installation and Positioning: Align the new transmission connector with the holes on the side of the window sash and insert it. Tighten the top 1-2 screws for temporary fixation.

Testing and Cutting: Test turning the handle to check if the latch extends and retracts normally. If the transmission rod is too long, use a hacksaw to cut off the excess.

Fixed Testing: After confirming smooth opening and closing, tighten all screws. Finally, test that the overlap of the locking points reaches approximately 5mm. If there are no abnormal noises when opening and closing, the installation is complete.
