The core of judging the quality of aluminum strip insertion equipment lies in its structural stability, the precision of core components, and long-term reliability. Don't just look at surface parameters and advertising claims. You can quickly judge its quality by checking the following five key points:
1. First, examine the frame structure: This is the foundation for stable precision.
Measure the frame thickness: Reliable equipment has a frame thickness of at least 12mm, and high-quality models use 15mm thickened steel; inferior equipment typically only has 8mm, which is prone to deformation after 3 months of continuous operation, leading to precision drift.
Check the welding process: Observe whether the welded joints of the frame are flat and uniform, and whether there is any deformation or wobbling. Weigh the entire machine; a heavier machine of the same model generally uses more robust materials.
2. Next, check the core components: These determine the equipment's lifespan.
Guide rails: Check the guide rail brand. Prioritize linear guide rails from well-known brands. High-quality guide rails can control the gap within 0.02mm, preventing deviation during cutting; inferior equipment uses generic guide rails with large gaps, easily causing misalignment during profile cutting.
Motor and Control System: Test the equipment's operation to ensure it runs smoothly and without noticeable abnormal noise or vibration. A high-quality CNC system allows for convenient parameter adjustments, faster adjustment speeds when changing profiles, and smaller precision errors.
Tooth Cutting/Rolling Cutting Tool: Check the surface of the cutting edge for smoothness. High-quality tools use carbide material, which is hard, durable, and less prone to wear during cutting, reducing the need for frequent tool changes.
3. Test Machine to Verify Machining Accuracy and Stability:
Process 1-2 commonly used profiles and check the following indicators after processing:
Does the heat insulation strip insert smoothly and without positional deviation?
Is the profile straight after rolling, without bending or deformation?
Is the tooth cutting depth uniform, and is the heat insulation strip and aluminum material tightly engaged?
Process more than 10 profiles consecutively to check the consistency of machining accuracy. Poor consistency indicates insufficient equipment stability.
4. Assess the Manufacturer's Process Design:
Prioritize models that support CNC adjustment: High-quality equipment uses CNC for adjusting the cutter head and pressure rollers, offering faster and more accurate adjustments than manual shim adjustments.
Check the pressure roller design: Dual-axis CNC models are equipped with CNC adjustable pressure rollers that can automatically press the profiles to prevent them from bending after rolling and reduce the scrap rate. This is a design that is not found in low-end models.
